Stony Mountain Child Care Center believes that "it takes a village to raise a child"

and we have adopted this as our mantra as we work towards completion of our newest child care center.

Our facility , as the only licensed group care facility, is bursting at the seems and our waiting list continues to grow.

Construction of the new facility next to the Stony Mountain Elementary School completed in 2019

and created create 32 new preschool spaces.

In 2019 we were granted the opportunity to begin Phase 2 of our construction goals and create a 20 space infant program.

Once it was completed, the orginal preschool site, became home to our Junior K program and our kinder program.

This allows us to provide age appropriate materials and activities that meets the needs of the growing child.

By providing a safe, stimulating environment, our program strives to meet the needs of each child’s individual social,

emotional, physical and cognitive development

Phase 3- 2024 Expansion- JQ Built Inc./ RM of Rockwood- 74 space childcare expansion

In June of 2023, construction of our 3rd location began. It is located beside the orgianl site of our JUnior K / Kindergarten

program. Completeion is expected in the spring of 2024.
